I could still remember myself writing about BERSIH 2.0 the last July.
And in less than 10 months time BERSIH 3.0 has been held again because the Najib led goverment refused to accede to BERSIH's recommendations to reform electoral process.
This time around PDRM took the same measure against BERSIH by locking down 53 streets in KL, making it immobilised. Building up barriers around Dataran Merdeka with barbed wires barricades, firing teargas towards the protesters and even knocked a few unarmed protesters down with police car. Despite the inhumanity shown by PDRM, surprisingly the Home Minister,Dato Seri Hishammuddin said , "The police behaved with utmost professionalism and restraint ."
So this is the professionalism meant by the ruling party.
We can find lots and lots of articles, pictures, videos etc online. The local media has been controlled so where we can get the genuine news is through the internet.
Marina Mahathir, the daughter of 4th PM even turned up in the rally to show her support. She even blogged about her experience during the rally here. And Channel Newsasia Singapore also interviewed her yesterday.
This is 1 of the video that featured the rally.
With the general election coming its way, I think the people is clear in their mind who they are going to vote for for a better tomorrow.
God bless Malaysia!
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

I shall not care
When I am dead and over me bright April,
shakes out her rain-drenched hair,
Though you should lean above me broken-hearted,
I shall not care.
I shall have peace,as leafy trees are peaceful
When rain bends down the bough;
And I shall be more silent and cold-hearted
Than you are now.

Sitting in front of laptop, squeezing my head , yet can't force out any word from my brain.
New sem just got started. Everything seems familiar but can't recall what I've learnt in the past 4 sems.
New class, new classmates, which is surprisingly comprises of all foreign students. Just imagine a class which is made up of 24 Malaysians,1 Vietnamese and 1 PRC with no Singaporean in Singapore!
Hope everything goes well in this last sem of study..

Hospital,my Utopia 医院,我的乌托邦
Utopia,a Greek word,means good place.
Yesterday I came across a chinese book called 'Hospital,my Utopia 医院,我的乌托邦' by Dr.George Lee.
Dr.George Lee (李永业医生) is a Kelantan-born kampung boy who went Ireland to further his study at the age of 16. I could still remember reading his embarrassing stories of how hilarious he was when he first board the plane and flied to Ireland.
He had a poor command of English at that time and when his lecturer asked him what's his horoscope,he answered his Chinese zodiac sign--Chicken. His nickname 'George' also came from his Irish lecturer.
But soon he began to pick up his English and performed beautifully in his studies. He got admitted to top university in the world .
He had been servicing in England for more than 20 years. But few years ago he decided to give up his highly-paid profession in England and came back to serve his home-country,Malaysia.
The main reason he decided to come back is because he realised the importance of tracing ones root and tradition . He was a traditional Chinese boy who had a perfect Chinese background upbringing from his late father. He celebrates Chinese traditional festivals and follows all the traditions passed down from his father. His father had a great influence on him and his regret of not being a good son when his father was illy sick and not being able to be at his father's side when he passed away unfortunately led to his decision of coming back to Malaysia.
The book ' Hospital,my Utopia' narrates the stories he saw and experienced during his career as a urologist.
It is not a book of medical knowledge . It's a book of how he perceives and thinks about everything happened around him. It's all his life experience. I like the way he convey his message through his real stories. There's always positive message from every stories he was trying to say in the book. There are stories touching enough to make you weep.
I manage to find 1 which he wrote for Sinchew daily 2 years ago here .
Hospital,a place where people afraid of going. It's a place where most people like us have to unveil our masks and show our real selves.
We love to read touching stories. By reading them it makes us realise how lucky we are and treasure things around us more. Actually there are many touching stories which also happen on us. It's just that we don't know or pretend not to know coz we always take things for granted.
李永业医生说:“人间最美丽和最伟大的信仰,那就是爱。”
Dr.George Lee says,"The most beautiful and mightiest belief in the world, that's LOVE ."
With love, the whole world is Utopia !

Act Of Valor
Went to watch this movie at Cathay AMK Hub today. It is a movie about a group of patriotic and enthusiastic active-duty U.S navy SEALS who fought hard against terrorism. I've long heard of U.S navy SEALS whose biggest mission was the hunt-down of Osama Bin Laden in Iraq.
It started off with a kidnap of a CIA operative which results in the discovery of a terrifying global threat. It is a group of people doing illegal weapon production and training people for suicide bomb. So an elite team of highly-trained Navy SEALS embarked on a adrenaline-fueled mission. The outcome of it will affect the fate of us all.
One of the best scenes I find in the movie was when the team was on a mission in Mexico. The chief of the team sacrificed himself by covering the grenade which was going to explode to save his teammates. It was a movie about courage, royalty and honour.
You can find out more about this movie here.
